Minelab SDC 2300 plus Bundle option
Minelab SDC 2300
- Training included
Folds to small portable size, 8.5” (216mm) by 15.7” (400mm). Fits into carry-on luggage and most backpacks.
Fully submersible to 10’ (3m) for detecting riverbeds and shorelines, allowing you to transition with ease from land to water.
Rugged & Assembly Free
Military grade construction, one piece detector designed to perform in the toughest conditions. No assembly required.
Easy Patch Hunting
Search quickly and efficiently in hard to reach and remote places to find those elusive gold bearing clustered deposits.
MPF (Multi Period Fast) technology incorporates extremely fast Pulse Induction switching between Transmit (Tx) and Receive (Rx) detector signals. Therefore minimal residual transmit signal is present during the receive cycle, enabling clear sharp detection of very small gold.
Minelab quality, one-piece assembly free design.
The SDC 2300’s mechanical platform ihas been designed and tested to military standards. Our R&D experts have selected high quality materials and ensured the product is easy to maneuver and operate.SDC 2300 is compact and lightweight for ease of use.
“Like a kid at Christmas I tore the box open and lifted out my new toy – a Minelab SDC 2300 detector. There is not a box full of parts to assemble, just this little detector all folded up, and nothing quite prepares a person for just how small the SDC 2300 is the first time you see it.” -Steve, California, USA
Minelab's scientists and engineers have 'challenged the best'.
Inspired by the MPS technology used in our flagship GPX detectors, Minelab’s scientists and engineers have ‘challenged the best’ and successfully developed new MPF technology (Multi Period Fast) for the SDC 2300.
SDC 2300 is 'unbeatable' in this mid-range PI class.
Field tests have proven that the SDC 2300 will find much smaller gold than the GPX 5000, and all VLF detectors, in heavily mineralized ground conditions. Field testers have reported that other brand detectors are far below this level of performance and have demonstrated the SDC 2300 is ‘unbeatable’ in this mid-range high performance PI class.
The SDC 2300 is very sensitive to small gold scattered in heavily mineralised ground. This gold is often missed by prospectors with both VLF and PI detectors because of the difficult ground conditions and fine gold size. You can now detect the small gold missed in previously searched areas. These small gold finds can lead the way to new patches and bigger gold deposits.
It will open up all of the old fields that were previously thought worked out:
“It was found in an area that we have been using for training in the Whipstick Forest (Bendigo) for the last 15 years - The piece weighed 0.05 grams and was recovered at a depth of about 2 inches... Fantastic machine - It will open up all of the old fields that were previously thought worked out” -Dave, Victoria, Australia
"I've got lots of plans for the SDC 2300 over the rest of this summer."
“I ran it over some spots with nasty ground mineralization and it just ignored the ground and the hot rocks - but it didn’t ignore the gold. I ended up with 8 nuggets for 2.7 grams on the first day out with the SDC, and 6 nuggets for 2.1 grams on the second day..“ Chris, California, USA
"The hottest PI detector on small gold I have used."
“I’m not going to claim nothing else would have found it but this little 0.67 gram piece is the sort of gold the SDC was made for and it banged out loud and clear at a few inches.” Steve, California, USA
"In the end I lost count of the numbers of 'nugglets' I found."
"This new “Super Detector” from Minelab will be living permanently behind the seat of my 4x4, just waiting to be unfolded and let loose on those unsuspecting gold “nugglets”.
"Finally I can go and have fun looking for tiny bits of gold again, minimal ground noise, minimal hot rocks, and maximum fun."
“More recently I got to test the SDC back on my home turf in Queensland where I’d spent 4 solid hours detecting a month or so earlier with [another brand detector] for no gold! I knew in my heart there was gold there but the effects of extreme variable mineralisation and high voltage power lines had taken their toll, not so with the SDC 2300. First nugget came within seconds, 2 hours later and I had 14 nuggets in my hand for 4.5 grams of gold.“ Jonathan, Queensland, Australia
